Default How do I add specific cardio results?

For example, how would I record a duration of 45 minutes and 431 calories burned on an elliptical cross trainer? I can't figure it out...

Thanx!

Click on "Custom Cardio" in the menu on the left of the My P.L.A.N. page. Enter the name of your custom exercise. Then enter the amount of calories burned as described above the little box. [To calculate that, I divided the 431 calories (I presume your equipment provided that number for you?) by your weight. (I used the 241.2, as shown in your stats.) That gave me 1.786 calories for the total number of calories burned per pound of your weight. Then I divided that by 45 minutes which you listed. That gave me 0.0396 calories burned per minute per pound of body weight. You can just enter that as 0.04, I think, and still be accurate enough. ] Then click on "Add new exercise."

When you want to enter this exercise in your cardio log, you will find it at the top of the menu on that page. (In the box marked "Exercise," click on the blue end of the bar where you see the up/down arrows. Scroll up to the top of the list, and you should see the custom exercise you entered.) Click on it so it shows to the right of the word "Exercise." In the little box, enter the length time you did the exercise, then click "Save Changes."

I'm pretty certain that's right. It's been quite awhile since I added a custom cardio exercise. If it doesn't work for you, please post again, and I'm sure Tamarin will answer.

Please post and let me know if I gave you correct advice! I wouldn't want to tell another person the same thing if it's wrong.
