Default New to Board - Starting Atkins AGAIN

Here we go again! Atkins to the rescue. It's time. It's 'been' time! I am jumping of the diving board, ripping off the bandaid, stepping off the plank. That's it! I am tired of being uncomfortable in this skin I live in!

34 yr old wifey and proud mommy of two devilishly handsome boys.

When I quit my full time job one year ago and started freelance work out of the house, I fell in love with luxury of sleeping in and staying up late. This new schedule has been my destruction. I put on 50 lbs. Late night snacking when hubby is asleep, lazy days on the couch while he is at work, uncontrollable cravings that I always give into, yada yada............you name it!

The worst part....I don't go anywhere anymore. I don't want people to see me like this. I am definately not the same person.

I am here to change that and find that this support system may give me a tad more motivation. SO! Got the ticker, got the forum, got the ketostix, got a BOX in the frig with my weeks worth of food that I'll strictly pick from, got the snacks, got an excercise cd (turbojam)...now let's see if I can STICK to it this time!!!!

INDUCTION ...here I come!
I think I can!
I know I can!
I will I will I will!

It's easy to fall right back in the same old rut - I still have to watch myself too. You can do it hon.

The only thing I can say is to take it one day at a time. The thing I am doing different this time is looking at myself in the mirror and saying, "My Life Needs to Change." I am going for mini-goals instead of trying to break the whole 150lbs off in one fell swoop. I wish you well!
