You are welcome, I am a sucker for these free summits
They released today's presentations early this morning. Already listened to Dr. Westman's, have heard most of it before, but Dr Mowell did bring up LT keto dieters seeing BG rise after being on it a while (that would be me...see first post of first thread... I called it physiological IR, they did not use that term). You can hear the same answer from him I get...we don't know what it means for a keto-adapted person, blah, blah. Anyway, by adding more fiber (still carrots and hummus on occasion), and I always have eaten more veggies than the 3 cups, PLUS fasting...this is not a problem for me anymore.

I listened to Dr Westman too. I was prepared to have heard it all but found I enjoyed it even though not much if anything was new to me. I am glad he addressed the rise in bg in a keto adapted person. My solution to that has been to stop testing. It's just one of those things I try not to worry about but it's always good to hear him say it's probably ok. I also appreciate how he is so careful to distinguish between things that are known and things that are only suspected because the research hasn't been done. Too many presenters in these types of summits and in numerous books fail to make that distinction and advise things that there is no reason to believe are necessary.

Westman was good, as usual; he's also looking younger - what's up with that? I wasn't familiar with Dr. Peter Osborne, but he presented a lot of good information on vitamin B12 & D3's effects on immune response & drug-induced nutritional deficiencies; the talk was not all about grains, as the title suggests.

Oh it is just so irritating, men! He has always looked, as Liz53 described him, "boyishly handsome". He finally had some professional photos for that Adapt website so that has helped...the photos in the Clarity books are awful.

Appears Day One talks available another 24 hours to Weds 10am. I couldn't get on last night as their server had too many users.

Dr. Berg is "interesting"...I never know how much stock to put into the whole adrenal fatigue issue, but he sounds so convincing! He has so many supplements and techniques (accupressure on the pancreas? body types?) and is not an MD, that my skepticism is high, but he is the best at explaining medical issues simply in his videos. Right at the beginning they are covering "stress" in all its forms on BG readings...even if "retired"... and I thought of Bonnie's odd higher readings one day. (it is also apparent that handsome doctors may have influenced my positive reaction this session :lol Has anyone tried some of his adrenal solutions? Liked Dr. Lustig's talk also.

And just saw that Encore Day all sessions will replay! Easier than a popularity contest. I've heard Suzy Cohen before...she's a good speaker and sensible. Pharmacist, sound advice.
