Thumbs down Dr. Spock's new diet for 2 years and up.

The famous baby doctor, Dr. Spock recommended in the newest version of his book a vegan diet for all children ages 2 and up.

You can read the article and vote in a poll and give your comments here .

Bad Doctor Spock! You should have done more research!

I don't think so! I'll give that recommendation two

Actually, though, my youngest daughter tends in that direction naturally; she loves her fruit and veggies but I have a hard time getting enough protein into her (not much of a meat eater). I have to get creative to make sure she gets enough protein and she eats a lot of cheese and eggs, some of the few protein sources she likes. She's also not big on sweets, potatoes (unless they're french fries) or bread and hates rice. No wonder she's underweight.
