Atkins Advertisement in the Time Magazine!
Just checked the latest Time Magazine, Feb 17th, Canadian Edition.
There's a full page, double-sided glossy paper ad, titled "The Facts About Atkins: What, Why and How" and procedes with listings of health facts, and all the 4 phases. Well done, and no silly slogans like WW and SlimFast "lose tons of weight in 5 minutes/days/weeks" quick loss one-liners.
They're going big into rivaling WW and the rest with their campaign.
It looked more like a health/public service information, and not like the usual advertising. Not sure if this is profitable in a commercial sense from an advertising point of view, but it's a bold move.
Did it show up as well in the U.S. edition of the Time?
