I had already 100g of macadamia nuts...

those nuts can barely fill you up and theyre so calorie dense, i personally am going to avoid any kind of nuts because..they drive me nuts(!).

it doesnt seem to me like you ate alot.. its not such a big portion after all, i use mayonnaise, eggs and cheese to control appetite.. it helps alot, u cant overeat on these (u can on cheese but i keep the cheese calories controlled.. actually i just take in like 4 oz of cheese/day)

what may seem alot to you may be just fine for your body..

here's a formula to determine the MINIMUM amount of calories you should consume every day..

(Harris Benedict formula for men)

66+(13.7 X weight in kg) + (5 X height in cm) - (6.8 x age in years)

what i do is control my snack calories aswell as breakfast and dinner

i hate weighing meat /fish before cooking etc so i allow myself to eat as much as i need at lunch without binging so all in all it comes out around my basal metabolic rate (more or less) which is like the minimum you should eat.

note that you will not necessarily gain weight if you eat more than what the formula indicates.. how many calories your body requires over BMR would depend on your activity level and metabolic state

hope its any help

D

If you are hungry, eat!

Just stay within your carb allowance. Many people have a seriously hungry day just before a whoosh, so good luck to you!

Default well this should make you feel better...

I didn't each much yesterday although my cravings were wicked. Ate legal and healthy all day. Went out had a glass of wine, when I got home had some wicked cravings for cheese, and lots of it!!! so i made 3 small plates (about 7-15 high fiber trader joe's tort. chips on each plate) with fresh parm and mont. jack cheeses on each!! yum, but I think I probably ate about 700 calories of cheese alone!!! Luckily I had a nice long workout that night, and ate very lite all day, so I don't think I did too much damage. The guilt is eating at me, but I am pushing through just chuggging my water today. I find that if I don't satisfy my cravings, like i didn't yesterday, then it ends up in a binge. So if you are hungry just keep eating small snacks to get you through and eat a little of what you are really craving otherwise it comes back and bites ya in the you know what. This is just my experience. Good luck!

Pierre, you haven't eaten anything bad. Just stay within your carb count and snack throughout the day. Snacking is going to help you take care of your food craving...plus you won't so much at one time.

Fill up on fat - this will satiate you faster.

Unless it's a taste thing or an over-active appetite.

Dont' eat till you are in pain, but stick to low carb and you should be fine!
