Hello again.
How long do you need to be on induction
before you are in Ketosis ?

Any good books in nz that show meal plans and
total carbs value.

Its such a hassle to cook and work out how many
carbs in each meal

Best Martin

Hullo again Martin,

It usually takes 3 or 4 days to hit ketosis.

I don't use a book for a carb counter. I come online and use www.fitday.com

Maybe an Enzeder here will know of a book that may help you?

Cheers.

There is a book - the Fat Fibre and Carbohydrate Counter published in Australia. A5 size. You can now also find booklets of the Glycemic index in the Nutrition (not Cookery) sections in Whitcoulls stores.

Recipe books tend to be American measurements, and contain bake mixes unavalable here, but there are a few, although they are very expensive for what they are.

I now make it a policy never to buy a cook book without the carbohydrates listed. I 've saved myself a lot of money.
