Plan: just low carb, under 50 g
Stats: 184/146/140 Female 65

Progress:
Default hitch

So I've been low carbing for about 6 weeks, was doing really well, until last night. Hubby wanted to go for one of those all you can eat chinese things, so I reluctantly agreed. Ate meat and veg, all good......until I devoured 2 pieces of chocolate cake!!!!!

This morning I have gained 4 pounds and am obviously not in ketosis anymore.

My question is how easily will my body return to fat burning and will I have to go through that horrible keto flu again?

How do you cope when yu go off plan?

Thanks

Tracy

First time I did induction, I got leg cramps, heart flutters etc. that probably came down to electrolyte imbalances. I think the body sort of adapts, and these symptoms can be reduced when similar dietary changes are repeated. People who do repeat water fasts can get the same thing--first time they fast, they lose more water, and enter ketosis sooner, than with successive attempts.

When I go off plan now, I feel better when I go back to eating low carb, rather than worse. It doesn't happen much anyways, because I've been eating low carb so long that it's habitual. It gets easier, just stick with it.
