jschwab - Yup, maintaining is good, beats gaining!

As expected, am paying the price for overdoing Friday night. I wasn't exactly an angel with eating yesterday either, but get this---it was an Atkins shake for breakfast, a hearty lunch with 2 slices leftover pizza and 2 glasses of wine, only a SF Alpine Spice cider as any cals. (15 cals., 4 carbs) after 1p, so I'm at 17 hrs. IF right now and hopefully will make it until 11a for a 22-hr. IF to jump start this week; just finished 2 miles treadmill-walking too.

Was really hoping to be in the low 180s by now to go into Thanksgiving ahead of the game. Sigh. Hopefully I'll rebound quickly back into ketosis and WL. Such a friggin' struggle.

No change. Trying to follow FODMAPS now on the recommendation of the GI doctor. Cutting out onions will cut carbs, right? She said no one's ever successfully done it in her practice.

Onion bulbs have a few carbs; Use scallions instead. The onion/ garlic family are important cancer fighters.

Prob just a blip on the scale, but I'll take it for motivation. Think there's some dehydration there, had a bout of <ahem> "intestinal issues" yesterday, hahaha.

jschwab - 1/4 cup onions is only 2 net carbs (2.7 total), so they aren't that carby in moderation. I'll do a light sprinkle of onion powder to get onion flavor that's "spread around" and save some carbs when doing Atkins induction. Good luck on the FODMAP, hope you ID whatever your culprits are quickly.

No change. I accidentally had FODMAPS at lunch. Feel bloaty. Maybe there is something to this...
