I did measure before I did the workout Thursday. I'm looking forward to taking more measurements in a few weeks.

Unfortunately, I didn't do the workout today. I did 60 minutes of rebounding this morning and planned to do the DVD this afternoon. We got started on moving patio stones in our backyard (man, those things are heavy!) and I was exhausted.

Tomorrow, before I start the gardening.

I finally got to doing the workout for the second time last night. The weekend was crazy busy (and lots of exercise) in the garden moving patio stones and digging up dirt.

I was surprised that the workout felt harder last night than it had on Thursday, but I got through it.

I can't wait to start seeing those inches melt off!

Still doing 1-3 except the cardio. Ok I'm really doing the boxing or all the cardio but I really don't think that gets the heart rate up. I'm still seeing great changes. I can't wait for these darn plints to heal o I can do it all!

Dumbells (and a floor mat if you'll be doing the workout on a hard surface) are all you need.

Glad you'll be shredding with us.

Gosh, I'm just not getting to this as often as I'd like. Probably because I'm self-conscious to do it when my husband is around and that's most of the time I'm at home. I'm considering bringing my laptop & the DVD to the gym and doing it there on the way home from work. That's not a bad idea.

Wow Guys!! I'm amazed by your progress and success! I think that I'd like to give it a try. I'm thinking of getting the DVD...Where can I find it?
Also, I was wondering if any of you "Shredders" do any other excercise in addition to the DVD? Your results are so amazing that I'm gonna Google it right now!!

I did the workout tonight, my third time on level 1. I upped my handweights to 8lb ones tonight except for the last set of side lunges, had to drop back to the 5lb'ers. Man, that was tough. I still can't do the second set of pushups on my toes. I'd like to be able to do that before I move to level 2, but I think my upper body will take a while before it's that strong, so I won't wait. I think I'll do the level 1 two more times before I move to level 2. I watched it today in fast forward and it looks like another tough workout!

I did Level 1 Friday again. Today I decided to try Level 2 for a couple reasons. First, I was able to do the advanced versions of all the exercises except the second set of pushups where I had to go to my knees. Second, I pulled something in my quad doing those side lunges in the third circuit and hoped Level 2 wouldn't stress the side of my quad in the same way.

However... Level 2 kicked my butt! Oh, my freaking gosh, it was tough! I will be on Level 2 for a while before I can keep up properly with the advanced moves.

Tomorrow I'm trying Level 1 again, though, with my husband. He saw me today and decided he wants to the workout with me to see if he can keep up with Jillian (he assumes he'll beat me easily, we'll see).

Great job H20goddess!

I tried adding the cardio again yesterday and oh my gosh the shin splints are definately not healed! On a really good note though I bough new jeans that fit great 3-4 weeks ago in a 12. I can now take them off without un-buttoning or un zipping. Pretty amazing considering the last 3 weeks = no cardio

How's everyone doing? I've offically completed 30 days of Shred (approx. 6 weeks). Loving my results!

EDIT: I should add that I'll still be doing Shred, just alternating it with something else every other day.
