Default I put yogurt on my rash and

It helped. This morning after I ate my yogurt I rubbed some on my hands and neck where the rash is so bad and I got relief. Im taking many of the supplements you all have recommended and I think Im back on track. Thought I would share my yogurt trick. Vonnie

hi Vonnie,

It makes sense that yogurt would be soothing and healing ... but it's not bacterial cultures which do the trick. Those cultures die quickly when exposed to air (they're anaerobes, which means they live without oxygen).

The magical compound in yogurt is the lactic acid .. which is formed when the bacterial cultures digest lactose from the milk. Lactic acid is very soothing, and is frequently found in therapeutic skin creams and baby/diaper rash creams.

Glad you found some relief

Doreen
