Default An update for you helpful people.

Just letting you know how I am getting on. I was one of those, back in April, who was making VERY slow progress. I was disheartened but you helped me stay on track. Someone helped me recognize potassium deficiency, which made a huge difference. I was able to appreciate my absence of Rosacea and improved digestion.

I have stuck to it and have largely stayed on induction...with a planned breakout every 6 weeks or so, when I will have a cake or pudding with my girlfriends or on a birthday. In all this time I have only lost 10 lbs, but I know that if I had not stuck to it since April I would have probably gained weight and been worried about my blood sugar and always felt hungry and had a belly ache and had a very inflamed face and and and and ! Quite a few downsides.

It's clear that for some reason, probably a low functioning thyroid, but JUST within normal, which my G.P. won't treat, that I am destined to really struggle with weight loss. A N Y W A Y THANKYOU ALL. for your help and support.

From time to time I have a serious wobble about eating fat, especially sat fat. I am still completely dissatisfied with the vehemently opposing views of the medical and nutritional worlds, but I suppose I will just have to live with it. Thanks all of you.

Another food metaphor: The proof of the pudding is in the tasting. Conflicting reports and arguments over what is and is not "healthy" gives me a headache as well. If you do it, and it works, well then ... Very good to hear of your successes!

Well done!! How we feel and good general health is worth far more than actual weight loss. Yet you have 10 pounds gone!! Again, well done!

This is very encouraging for others, so thanks for posting the thanks and progress reports.
I find that I redistribute my fat somehow so that my pants fit differently. My pants get "longer" before they get too big.
