Default too easy chocolate bark w sea salt and almonds

I don't know if you can really call this a recipe but OMG!!!!! so good and so easy. I once had a gourmet chocolate bar with roasted almonds and sea salt and have never forgotten it. Recently I took a 3.5 oz 85% dark chocolate bar (Lindt) broke it into chunks in a glass pie pan, added a handful of SF LC chocolate chips and melted it in the microwave. To the melted chocolate I added about 1/3 cup of mini roasted and salted almonds and a healthy sprinkle of sea salt. Put it in the fridge to set. The next morning I broke it into pieces and man oh man. This is smooth, gourmet, to die for chocolate that reminds me a bit of the salty/sweet combo that you get in chocolate covered pretzels. Be careful with this stuff.

That sure sounds good. I'm printing this out to try. Thanks for sharing!

I had a similar chocolate experience the other night. Remember the old silver foil-wrapped Chunky candy? They were huge squares of pure chocolae, with tons of nuts, seeds and raisins in them. I haven't seen them in ages, so they may not even make them anymore. Giving my age away here, LOL. I adored those things!

Well the other night, I grabbed a few raw pumpkin seeds, unsalted roasted sunflower seeds and some LC chocolate chips and threw them altogether into my mouth! Except for not having raisins in them, it tasted JUST LIKE A CHUNKY!!! Man, when I get to the fruit rung and can have a few raisins, I'm gonna be experimenting with making my very own CHUNKY bar!
