Hi --- just wanted to introduce myself. I lost 57# in 4 months back in 2006 - went from 183# to 126#. I'm sure you can figure out why I'm starting again on 12/29/17. Looking forward to meeting all of you and hearing your success stories.

Good Morning Cruisegal, welcome to the forum. You will find all the support and encouragement you need to make this journey a success and also have a little fun along the way.

I recommend that you start your own journal, so that we can all come by and visit, and we can follow you on this new way of eating, the other thing that has been of great value to me, is to record EVERY single thing you eat, I mean EVERY little tiny bit, it all counts. We have a meal planner on this site, but I personally find the meal planner on the Atkins site more user friendly, I'm a bit of a computer idiot so I need simple...where ever you chart, I highly recommend. That way you are sure you are getting everything you need in a day.

Anyway, take your time, look around, find your way and stop by my journal sometime, I love company, have a positive day, ttyl

Wow! I noticed in your thread a bunch of names that have not posted in quite a while. Welcome back.

I usually just click the new posts link https://forum.lowcarber.org/search.php?do=getnew

and read from there. On the whole site there's probably 20 to 50 posts a day from what I can tell - Some sections probably quite while others, like buddy challenges and stuff more active.

Happy New Year

Welcome CruiseGal!

Most activity is in journals, so unless you are subscribed to journals, then you won't see a lot of updates. A little in the different sections, as Thud said, but not a lot overall compared to where the forum used to be. I have been here since 08 and it's not nearly as active as it used to be.

I'm back, too. Your initial weight loss was so fast, but inspiring. We can do this!
