Question New to Paleo

So I'm contemplating going all paleolithic - any hints and tips from those in the know?

Neanderthin and PaleoDiet arrive tomorrow, so I'll devour them then, so to speak...

Hi!

I've been gone for awhile.... enjoy your new books. I actually gave Paleo Diet by Cordain away... Neanerthin is close to what I follow. I also have Diet Evolution by Charles Hunt, which I TOTALLY recommend. EAsy read, easy suggestions, great book!

Also, check out www.danjohn.org/coach and search for the meat, leaves berries section. Other than cheese and cream in their coffee, this couple inspired me to get where I got. Weightlifting info, too!

REad both books, and decide for yourself. We're all different, and what works for one might not work for another.

I keep it simple during the week. Basically follow the www.danjohn.org suggestions. Bacon & eggs for breakfast, tuna with mayo for lunch, and some sort of meat, veggie, salad and maybe fruit for dinner. ON the weekend, I might broil chicken wings, make burgers, etc.

Good luck! --Lizzie

Hey Lizzie. I'm one of those unfortunates who stalls when they excercise, so, I don't do it.

I did go paleo July 1, and have lost a total of about 6lbs. Usually takes me 4-5 months to lose that much, so, that's progress, I guess.
