My sister has been diagnosed with fatty liver. She is 6 feet tall, about 145 pounds, eats a pescatarian diet with lots of veggies - good fats like butter, olive oil and coconut oil, moderate fruit, a little wine and beer - she does eat wheat and other grains. But all in all a pretty healthy diet compared to the SAD, and she has rigidly controlled her weight most of her adult life - until she gained a quick 25 pounds when she hit menopause (so that she now feels very "fat"). However at one point she was going through TONS of Tylenol for migraine headaches that she suffered from for years. From what she now reads she feels it's a wonder she didn't die from Tylenol-induced liver damage, but she is convinced that it's all the Tylenol that caused the fatty liver.
