Default itching

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if Atkin's causes face, arm and leg itching. My two sisters and I are doing Atkin's, and in the last two days both of them have horrible itching on their faces, arms and lower legs. Does anyone know what can be done for this? I was wondering if it could be caused by a yeast infection. Thanks, Kathy

If you have a yeast (candida) problem and don't know it, starting an LC WOE will cause the yeast to die off and you may have "a flare up" which is the toxins released by the dying yeast. An LC WOE removes the yeasts food source (carbs & sugar). I had a big candida problem and whenever I have a flare up my scalp itches. Staying on the plan is the best thing and taking some probiotics and anti-fungal supplements will help you get over it faster.

HTH, Liz
