Default What me, exercise? - Cheryl's journey into the unknown

I've been on this WOL for 3 weeks or is it 4? With about 8 pounds lost, considering I lost 9 in the first week when I tried it earlier this year, not too good. But it's better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick - or a sharp one for that matter . Thought I'd better add something to get it all moving.

I dusted off my Walk off the Pounds dvd yesterday, did the 1 mile walk sans weights (only cause I couldn't find them). Today I found them and did the 1 mile walk again.

I also bought a pedometer to keep a check on how far I walk in a normal day. So far it says 5270 steps, distance 2.89 kilometres (yes it does actually say it, it's a talking pedometer. I measured my normal step and put that in to it so the distance is supposed to be close to what I am actually walking.

I wore the pedometer most of today, wanted to see how much I walked in a day especially when I'm at work. The last time I looked it was over 9 km - then the stupid thing reset it's self.
