Hi,

If this is a tentative schedule for our get together in Las Vegas would Day 0=Sunday or Day 2= Wednesday. I guess I'm confused when the dates are Vegas Oct, 1st through the 4th, Sun through Wed. 2006. Just trying to plan out some other things while I'm there and don't want to mess up any time with the LC group.

Day 0 - Ice breaker 7 p.m.

Day 1 - Opening ceremonies 8:00-9:00

Break 9:00-9:10

Success stories 9:10-12

Lunch break 12:00-1:30 (on your own)

Nutrition & suppliments 1:30-2:10

Exercise 2:10-2:50

Break 2:50-3:00

Body image 3:00-3:40

LC logic 3:40-4:20

Break 4:20-4:30

Closing ceremonies 4:30-5:00

Day 2 - Casual day to hang out - no structure

We will not be following that schedule because loss of speakers and no meeting room. I am sorry, I thought you understood from your PM We will meet Monday as a group and talk about whatever you all would like to discuss. I know we will talk about vit D and I was hoping we could all plan it on this thread. I know we have all lc topics near and dear to our hearts. JAnn has made some great ideas and so has Sunshine and Zuleika (who will discuss the Vit. D supplement.)

So Sunday icebreaker poolside, Monday hang out as a group and lc discussions and the rest of the Vegas time is yours. I was also hoping we could all grab lunch together, and then continue threw 3 or 4pm. So you will be free from Monday late afternoon on if everyone else likes that.

I would love feedback!

I wouldn't mind throwing in with a bowling party. It would be a laugh.

I wouldn't mind eating together either.

If any one wants to see a show, I advise buying online before you get to Las Vegas. The good ones sell out fast.

Ok, Gen... any idea on the number of LC ladies that might actually BE in Vegas for that Monday???... a rough idea is fine.... was thinking, depending on how MANY of you there are... might be able to pick you up... take you OFF the Strip for a few hours... feed you a Vegas FREEBIE meal, and show you some "local" places... talking LC the entire time of course!!!... Could plan on dropping everyone back at The Orleans by say, 4pm or so.... that way you could all still see the Strip attractions and/or shows that evening and the next day.... the best of "both" worlds, as such...

Sorry...(laughing here).... didn't see this question earlier when you posted it, Gen... you can wear ANYTHING (or NOTHING) here at ANY time of the year... and you would fit right in... you will find yourself walking down the Strip and thru' the bigger, fancier casinos... looking at people in evening gowns/tuxs... and right next to them... hillbilly types in tattered shirts and shorts... day or middle of the night... makes no difference... so bring YOUR favorite, comfy clothes... and your best, old, comfortable walking shoes... whatever you bring, you will blend right in.... I PROMISE!!!... I usually just wear blue jeans and my favorite top... tshirt, turtleneck, sweatshirt, a light jacket if needed... if you plan on hitting any of the nightclubs or BETTER restaurants (there are hundreds in town)... you MAY want one dressier outfit.... but for sightseeing, ANYTHING goes... righto???

I'm finally back online and still planning to go. My dsl went out about 2 months ago and I just haven't had the time to use dial up! I finally have both the dsl and phone line working again which is great because it is a business line. Also, I've had to shut down pretty much every afternoon because of the t-storms. Can't blow my new computer!!!

Money is tight but I'm really looking forward to the trip. My sis wants to come too, and she might have some great input about nutrition and such. I just wish I could get her to do some facials for us!!!
