On Mon June 29th and Tues June 30th, 2020 the BMJ and Swiss Re will host their second international summit Food for Thought: the Science and Politics of Nutrition.

I've already registered, though it's totally the wrong time of day for me, haha. Hopefully it'll be put on YouTube or something for later.

One of the things I found particularly interesting about the 2018 conference was the range of speakers that had very different views on many aspects of nutrition, all coming together face to face. I definitely see the low carb movement having good representation again this time, but some of the leading opposition voices from last time aren't on the speaker list for 2020. Hopefully some of the faces that I don't recognise will step up to the plate in that regard.

Agree, we need this type of constructive dialog or we risk maintaining the different and often alienated diet camps that have formed.
