One thing I have learned since I changed my way of eating is when you have a strong craving you have to answer it. And you have to get exactly what you are craving. If they didn't have them at KMart today I was going to have to go to every store around until I found them. Snickers wouldn't have worked.

I have to feed that exact craving, or else I'll derail myself. It doesn't happen often, but every couple of months I have to have ice cream, and it's usually cherry nut that I require.

One thing that I have learned..as yous said, you have to to feed that craving. I have also learned after doing this WOE, that I KNOW exactly what I am craving..no doubts at all, and if I feed it, its gone, and I am ok.

I agree, if you don't feed it, you end up eating so much else that you are doing damage anyway. That's why i ate 4 bites of carvel ice cream cake yesterday.

Its great to get those cravings out of your system.

I gave up alcohol for lent and haven't had any since I started the diet. I had a couple drinks yesterday and they knocked me out. 45 fewer lbs of weight and no alcohol for over 2 months. I used to have 4 drinks before I started feeling a buzz. Yesterday I hadn't even finished my 2nd drink before I felt it.

The headache I woke up with this morning insured that I won't be doing that again for a long time

Hey, that is nothing, I ate a whole bag of Robin Eggs over the weekend! Glad they are around only once a year. My kids never even knew they were in the house!

Wow you guys make me feel so much better. I was feeling so bad about my apple pie and jelly beans, now I know I am not the only one who cheated, and I can get back on track.

Well...hope you enjoyed them

I "fell off the wagon" with cookies yesterday. And I savored them...knowing darn well I should NOT eat them...but it was Easter.

Back on track today...for us all

Yesterday at my Mother's house for Easter, I couldn't ignore my mother's homemade butterscotch pie. It has been a tradition and a treat since we were kids. At least I only had one piece, skipped the cheesecake bars (I have lc cheesecake whenever I want) and watched my brother and sister have two pieces each and fight over the rest!

I'm so glad to know I wasn't the only one swimming in sugar yesterday.. I bought SF/LC candies for myself, but ended up rewarding myself at the easter dinner yesterday anyway. I had corn casserole, potato salad, ham rolls, and strawberry pie. And I'm feeling rough today... I'm sure glad these holidays don't happen more often. Todays a new day though, and I'm right back on track.

My Mother in law that still thinks her daughter is 12 brought over a very nice sugarfree/low carb easter gift basket that she thru together. It had everything from 2 sugarfree chocolate peanut butter bunnies to sugarfree covered almonds... Oh yeah, it also had some stuffed bunnies and chicks and other various 5 year olds' toys! (-;

I am still dealing with the cramps!

Am I the only one who thinks feeding your cravings is a bad idea? Not to condemn anyone, because we all fall off the wagon now and then, but all this "You HAVE to feed your cravings" talk is raising my eyebrow, so to speak.
