Default Alcohol? What can I have?

Hello again.
I thought I would miss my gin & tonic in the evening, however it's been OK.
On the other hand, I would like to have a sociable drink with friends and family.
Would somebody please tell me what I'm allowed to have. I'm just going into the third week of Atkins' diet.
Thank you and kind regards, Johnny

Thumbs up Hi Johnny!

Hello.

I don't drink myself but there have been several discussions on this topic if you would care to look around.

I will start you off with this one. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...ghlight=alcohol

Take care.

Hi! I'm new too, though I've been browsing this site for a while & find it really useful. I'm out tonight in Newcastle for the first time since starting on Atkins (I'm just out of induction), & am a bit nervous about what I'll drink. I guess after a couple I won't mind too much anyway! I've found I haven't lost much this week anyway, though in Induction I lost 8lbs. I'll let you know how I get on this weekend though!
