I've started tomorrow, so many times! I usually get almost through my second day when the cravings hit and I fall face first in ice cream and monster cookies. The car knows the rought to the nearest gas station and its an every other day cycle. Poor thing, I've got it confused now, I'm stayed on plan now for (drum roll please ) today is the 7th day and the car has drive right on by.
I have found avoiding triggers and staying really busy helps me, plus, the end of day 2 and the end of the first week is the hardest. Yesterday, behing my 6th day was awful, I ate more than I wanted too, but I keeped it low carb and I made it through. Feel pretty confident this morning! My first week is down!
Becky is right, an addiction is an addiction, your body and mind keep you feeding the addiction. Gotta find ways to out smart the addiction to possibly get past it.
