Unhappy Needing to get control

Hello there. I'm not really a student or teen, but i'm only 23 and am fairly new to atkins. I got the whole way through induction and lost a decent amount of weight, but i cheated on the last day and it's been downhill from there. i'm just looking for some support from people more like myself.

I have almost the same stats, so I thought I would say hi!! I am 20 years old. I feel better when I eat carbs, so I am not on Atkins, but I do watch the quality and amount of carbs that I consume.

The best thing to do is just take things one day at a time. If you screwed up, tomorrow is always another day. The longer you "cheat", the harder it will be to stop cheating, so you should try to get back on track ASAP. Try to find what triggered you to cheat- stress, boredom, feeling "deprived", etc.

Congratulations on the weight loss......mine is much much slower, so I am jealous!! How tall are you? How many calories are you consuming on average? Do you exercise? Hope to hear from you again!

Hi there. I'm only 5'2" so every pound shows. I cheated because i was fighting with my BF so i really need to learn to separate food from my emotions. I really have no idea how many calories i eat a day. I feel like i eat a lot of them, my fitday journal is online if you want to check it out. I joined a gym a few months back and try to go 3-4 times a week. usally 20 minutes of lifting (almost all arms) and then i bike for 25 minutes. i'd like to get that up to 45 minutes, but i'm asthmatic so i have to increase my time slowly. What about you?

I have one question for you, do you really want to gain all that water weight every time you cheat? I have done both atkins and zone. While on atkins you do lose quick and its noticable really quickly but so is that water weight. With the zone you lose a bit more slowly but it STAYS OFF even if you cheat once in a while. Im not telling you one which is better i just thought id add my 2 cents.

This is going to be hard but I'm going to try my best to do it! I'm determined, does anyone have any tips as I start my mission!

Plan: Exercise, Water, Proper Food.

Start date: Tuesday March 30, 2004. 120lbs.
Finish date; Tuesday June 15, 2004. 100lbs.

Goals: loose 20lbs.
Thursday April 15, 2004;115-118 *3lbs
Friday April 30, 2004;112-115 *3lbs
Saturday May 15, 2004;109-112 *3lbs
Sunday May 30, 2004; 104-109 *3lbs
Tuesday June 15, 2004; 100-104 *4lbs

Can I pull it off in 3 months? *crosses fingers*
