I like Baken-ets and Mac brand the best. Zero carbs, gluten free like most (if not all) but some brands have a very hard rind attached. Some may like that but I don't care for them. The two brands I mentioned are constantly light and tender.
And yes, I find them in the chip aisle, but usually extreme bottom or top of the shelf. Grocery stores tend to put two things at eye level (1) the most profitable products and (2) the most commonly desired products.
I would guess in the case of pork rinds it's number (2)
