Talking Yeah Finally!!! Another minor and mini Milestone Met

Yeah, I am so happy I been flirting for the past 10 weeks of going past the 220 mark and going down another 20 pound notch on the scale. It has been up and down.

I can finally say I am officially below the 220 mark at 216 today... 2 more notches to go... 136 pounds lossed...

Next minis

2 more pounds I will be less than 40 pounds to go...that is the next mini goal

3 more pounds and I will be the weight i met my hubby at in 1996.

Yipeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<<<<<<<<<<<<<happy dancing>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I also, realized yesterday I went on the last frontier of clothing officially.

I tried on my varsity letter men's jacket from college. And it not only fit but was a tad bit on the bigger side

Dress clothes I bought 6 months ago are now starting to hang on me.

So let's hope the trend continues with the weight loss that I have gotten past this most recent 2.5 month stall

I really like to be my goal weight of 175 by sometime this fall/winter.

"I am officially below the 220 mark at 216 today.....136 pounds lost."

I remember when you used to say you were jealous of me. Now..... I'm jealous of you.

I too am a little jealous. It is fun to watch your progress and I'd love to skip ahead and be in your shoes.

The first and only time I ever dieted and reached my goal weight was when I was 19 and in college. I went from 240 to 169 via a semi-low carb diet (lots of cheating) and daily jogging. From what I remember, the closer I got to my goal weight (170), the longer it took for each pound to come off. The last 10 lbs seemed to take forever. But on the other hand, you could practically see each pound come off in the mirror. When you don't have much fat on the bones, it does not take much of a loss for it to show. So don't be discouraged if you don't hit your goal weight by a static goal date. Progress may slow - but it will show like never before.

I kept my weight under 180 for 4 years - jogging several miles a day. When I stopped the daily exercise, well -- you know the story. Wish I could go back and tell myself the trick to keeping it off... Lifestyle low-carbing vs. a temporary diet.
