Yeah bit the title makes me laugh - women with chin hair and weight gain should be tested.
I myself suffer from PCOS and I don't have hair on my chin thanks very much, I have the weight gain granted, but I think that title is just plain RUDE to those poor people who do suffer facial hair!!
OMG very rude.
Good that it's getting more coverage saying that.

Good article. Glad to see the media is becoming more aware that PCOS exists!
I agree with jadefox though, couldn't they have chosen a better subtitle? I didn't seek a doctor b/c of chin hair - I sought one because of irregular TOMs (which for me became T-O-Years ha ha!) - then it took years and a few doctors later to diagnosed it. Maybe if the media's on board, then more doctors will be too!
Yeah!! I had never heard of it before - my daughter found an article in a magazine and called me. A few weeks I was tested and it came back positive - she was tested weeks later - positive. My youngest daughter is being tested also..... The chin hair part of the article didn't bother me - I know I have it so I am sure others do too.... I am overweight and I can't hide that either.
As a sufferer of facial hair I did find it a bit offensive. But oh well at least they are talking about it, and thankfully they mentioned that yes thin women can have it.
