Oh thank you all for coming. I had such a great time with you all.

Demi I hope you liked your prize. We wanna see pictures of you in that shirt.

Vanessa, can't wait to see the Cathedral with you.

Anne, I hope you enjoy your cruise. Take pictures.

Sylvia, I can send you some of that coffee you liked so much if you want.

Dee, what a pleasure to meet you. DH enjoyed chatting it up with your DH and the boys, simply gorgeous they are. I hope they had a good time, though my little one was naughty I hope your little had a good time.

It was so great to be able to share my home with you all. I hope you will all come next Thanksgiving weekend again. I know Sean, Dee's DH will be here, he simple loved the fried turkey.

That means you HAVE to come Dee.

Pictures are in the gallery. You all looked so great.

It was my pleasure having you all here today.

Thank you for coming.

Thank you Demi.

I'm looking forward to next year as well.

Glad you loved the turkey. Since we've discovered fried turkey we no longer bake it.

Hugs to you darling, so glad you came.

THANK YOU LILY

Another wonderful meeting - Lily was such a gracious and well organised hostess you made it look easy. It was so good to spend time together and to feel relaxed and at home with friends. Yes, I loved the turkey. But I also loved the puddings - big treat.

Dee - I'm sorry I was playing with the kitten and didn't get a chance to say goodbye to you and your family. It was lovely to meet you and I do hope to see you at the next meeting. Do start a journal so I can pop in for a chat with you.

I'm looking forward to my next visit to Ely - when the weather is better I think to enjoy the Cathedral - and of course next year's Thanksgiving gathering. Perhaps I'll win the challenge then

Thanks again Lily and your DH for your generous hospitality.

Morning Lily

Thank you so much for a great time yesterday. It was lovely to come over to your house, even if I did get lost on the way. The journey home was fine, getting home around 7 pm.

The food was wonderful - loved the deep fried turkey. Yes, I'll be back for more next year! The pumpkin cheesecake was lovely and had the bit I took home yesterday evening. Its back to calorie counting today. That torte that Demi brought was also to die for. Felt really stuffed afterwards.

So nice to meet Dee and her family and also to see familar faces again and to catch up on news.

Will go and look at the photos posted. Will put mine in Webshots, hopefully this evening.

We have agreed that our next meeting will be on Saturday 5th March at the Cafe Rouge, Victoria. I'll start a thread about that soon.

Thanks again Lily and your DH.

Lily, many, many thanks to you and your DH for laying on such a fantastic meal

It was great to see people again and to meet Dee. If I'm around next year, you can definitely count me in for a repeat performance

Only problem was the journey home - taking almost 3 and a half hours to go 82 miles having drunk nearly 2 litres of water is not the best experience ever The motorway was fine, but getting through London was a nightmare due to some race or other that was going on

But it was well worth it for the turkey

Aww Sylvia, sorry to hear it took so long to get home.

But I'm so glad you came and had a good time.

I'm so glad I got to see you again.

I'll save you a spot for next year just in case you're in town.

Hugs!
