Default Buying ankle weights in the UK?

Does anyone know where I can buy heavier ankle weights in the UK? I need at least 10lb weights. I have had a good look online but can't find anything over 5 lb.

Thanks, Eddie. The Argos catalogue only sells lighter weights, unfortunately .

you may have to look online first at the shops that sell weight training gear.

Thanks Pepsi. I've had a look at several online shops but haven't found the weights I'm looking for. Are there any shops you would recommend?

Vanilla, I think your best bet would be to talk to a body building/fitness specialist store. They are usually called things like Workout World or Body Fitness and they sell a wide variety of weights and supplements. Some of them even sell hi-protein low carb bars (though they do taste hideous!)

Thanks for that information, K_karate. I'll see if I can find one of those stores.

Decathlon, a UK sports chain, stocks ankle weights of varying degrees.

I just had a look at Decathlon online, and would you believe their heaviest ankle weightsare only 2kg? Perhaps I'm looking for something which doesn't exist .

Sorry Decathlon couldn't help, Vanilla Maybe you should ask in the fitness forum? At least someone there might be able to say whether they even exist.

Thanks Sarah - I was searching for ankle weights and never thought to put the weight in! Sylvia - I'm trying the fitness forum too.

I've already got two weights on each leg, and can't fit any more on! I've tried using the two weight and strapping on a dumbell, but it's not very comfortable.

Thanks to your help I think I've finally found stockists!

http://www.newitts.com/product.pasp...ctID=AX-AWN-25S if anyone's interested. 4.3kg should be about 10 lb. Thanks everyone!
