Hmmmm .. Perth is an hour's drive from my home. Very beautiful rural area, away from city hustle and bustle. September weather here is perfect.

Must have a chat with Mr. Credit Card to see if the budget will allow ...

Wow, I'm excited about this. I couldn't have made the one in Perth due to lack of transpo, but I could easily get to Kingston from where I am.

(ETA) Double-wow, it's right near the train station at which I'd be arriving!

That's great you can go to this one. And it’s one long day, not involving an overnight. Amy spoke at the one day event in Roxboro, NC recently ...I did not go because it sold out at 400! People, and she is doing another with Kristie Sullivan next month based on holiday cooking... I’d rather do an event that had fasting as part of it. But happy to see her out speaking and starting a YouTube.

Registration is still open for this event. Hoping to run into some forum folk there!

Have fun! it will be an informative day. Don't know about this forum but the Obesity Code Facebook page will be well represented.

Oh, cool! I've mostly deFacebooked myself, with just an account under a pseudonym to communicate with coworkers, but I should have thought of looking them up since Megan Ramos will be there. I really enjoyed her talk from Houston.

Amy Berger was soliciting sports T shirts, so I bought her one.

I have the same negative attitude toward FB and use a pseudonym (here too ) but the Obesity Code Network is one of the few I keep. I'd check it just for the success stories. This week a woman lost 180 pounds in one year, and she does not seem to have bags of skin hanging around her waist (can see a defined waist in photos)! Autophagy rules. The moderators are good, and their Files stuffed with the basics so the discussion doesn’t get bogged down. Closing in on 50,000 members, with more Canadians who are patients or nearby to Kingston. You should have a good time meeting low carb neighbors and having Amy support "your (hockey) team"

So the conference was great. I would definitely go to another, especially if it's closer to home. I believe the organizer, Wendy, said that it was being filmed and the video would be available to the speakers to share if they wish. I hope they do.

I won a door prize! A bag of bake mix from LoveMyBuns.ca . I can't do the recipe the way they have it specified on the site - I don't have parchment muffin wrappers, but I'll be experimenting with a thicker batter and making them just on a cookie sheet. Results forthcoming. So far, I like it, it just needs a bit more tweaking.

Amy Berger is much tinier than she looked in her website pic! I thought she looked taller and curvier. Oh well, I guess she can use her Leafs shirt to sleep in.

What a cute photo! Glad that you liked this conference, good speakers make them worthwhile.
It sounded that this group will have more of them, so you are now on their list.
