Default Getting the Kids to eat low carb-Healthy alternatives for the family!

OK, so I've been getting smaller and leaner and I love eating this way, but I still have the "family's food" and "mom's food" areas. I'm starting to narrow that some. I'm sure other people are doing the same, but how about a thread that gives some good tips and recipes for this?

I found a website that started my foray into finding fun ways to change my family's eating habits. It is http://www.elanaspantry.com/ . She used agave nectar in some of her recipes, but I think I could use liquid stevia and get the same result! She uses coconut and almond flour, and she and her son have celiac's, so ZERO gluten!

My son loves Monster drinks (so do I!) Once a week, on Saturday, I'll get the Zero Carb one for myself and him, for a treat.

You know the Italian sodas you can get at coffee shops? I made a SF one for my kids using carbonated mineral water, flavored stevia drops, and a glug of heavy whipping cream. They LOVED it!

Any other ideas would be great!

Amber
