Talking I'm inspired by your success stories.

It's so awesome to read your success stories. I've been reading thru some of the threads on this forum and I'm inspired! I havent been low carbing very long--only about 6 wks, but have lost tons of weight so far.

I have a fairly recent pcos diagnosis, and havent noticed a decrease in symptoms yet with LC'ing. I started taking epo about 6 months before my diagnosis and that's eliminated my big nasty zits and helped with regulating moods (and hopefully some hormones too).

I'm so hopeful that this WOL will eradicate my PCOS. I live in the middle of prairie Canada and good doctors are a rarity here. I'm really feeling like i'm on my own with this without the medical backup that i need. My gyne wanted to put me on bcp's, didnt order any labs at all, and started talking exploratory laproscope...Ugh! I guess if i'm losing weight by LC'ing, that's gotta count for something--i mean the weight wouldnt be coming off unless my insulin levels were backing down towards normal. And i'm thinking that the way that i feel is just as good of a barometer of how i'm progressing as regular lab tests would be.

Ok, i'm just rambling now...
