Hi just wanted to introduce myself here in the PCOS area...I'm Jannice and I was diagnoised with PCOS in 1998 but had been looking for answers to all the symptoms for years before that. It wasn't untillI saw a story on Oprah in 1998 that I realized I had to fiond someone that knew more about this disease ...so after a search through town I found a Dr that did all the blood work and came back with my diagnoisis...Although devistated..I was relieved to finally have an answer! I tried so hard to get pregnant for so long....but after that I controlled it will the Atkins diet and after losing 60 lbs and another yr later I got pregnant with my daughter who is now 16 months old.I currently trying to get a hold on my weight again..I sorta let it go after having the baby and sliding into post partum depression. So I am finishing up my Phase 1 on South Beach today (9 lbs thinner!) After I lose the weight I do plan on trying to concieve one more time....I want to see if my daughter is the "miracle baby" the Dr claims she is or if I can get pregnant again! I hope I can have one more!
