I read in one of the Atkin's cookbooks that sugar alcohols are not allowed on the induction phase of the diet. I started paying attention to sugar alcohols. I am trying to keep them low. That means I have some, but not nearly as much as when I thought they didn't count. As to my new lower calorie diet, my weight loss has stalled. I am going to give it one more week. I have gotten a little loose on counting the calories, and maybe that has had an effect. I will start being careful again. But on the good side, I have not gained any of the 5 pounds I have lost back. I will keep you updated. Good luck everyone.

Vegetable only for 4-6 weeks? No protein/fat at all, or there is some? Could you, please, clarify?
Thanks,
