Default Hello From WI

I am new to this site, but not so new to LC. I am Diabetic and have spent a long time ignoring it. I KNOW that I HAVE to take this seriously. So now I am searching for motivation, support, and some more knowledge. I hope to find some LC friends that are looking for the same

Welcome beara,

You have found a great resource for diabetes information, here is the sub-forum about it.

https://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdisplay.php?f=45

There are so many threads in it that will help. Read back through them though the Dr Fung threads are now way too long. His book, The Diabetes Code is a good summary. For an 18 minute talk on how to Reverse your diabetes, Dr Sarah Hallberg's is brilliant.

Dr Westman's talk on clinical experience will give you great motivation. https://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=475642

All the best,

Welcome! I was type 2 diabetic several years ago. I lost a lot of weight, maintained, then regained some...but still my A1C is good. You will find the support you need here!
