Lots of people don't notice it - on the one-cup list, along with pumpkin!

Welcome to the forums, Lyn. It's good to hear that you and your partner are both on this journey together.

With such a big change in your diet, don't worry if you start feeling a bit strange for a while. This is just your body adjusting to your new way of eating and it will pass after a short while. Just stick to the plan and you'll be fine, and as everyone has said, drink plenty of water. Many people go through an 'induction flu' when they start Atkins and although I am following a more Palaeolithic way of eating, I still experienced withdrawal symptoms when I started.

Good luck, and keep us posted on your progress!

Hi Oblong,
Thanks for the welcome.
I have been a bit lethargic, with a few aches and pains...know I know why
I am not giving up, this will turn my life around

Good luck with your weight loss too
