Default Meat and water product

seriously, it says "Meat and Water product" on the front label in big lettering!
35% added ingredients....

THIS is why processed meat is bad, it's not the meat people!

Added ingredients are mostly water and corn starch.
My dear cost conscience wife seems to think it's a good deal.

On the other hand she did bring home 5 lbs of 75% hamburger from a local high end grocer that grinds their own . I have told her I will not eat the mystery meat that comes in an opaque tube.

Yes - front labels can be deceiving! I bought a can of soda once that said on the front - no added sugar. It was sweetened with stevia so I thought it wouldn't be any different from my zero carb diet soda. Was I ever wrong! When I got home I looked at the back of the can - 5 or 6 carbs.

And it didn't taste all that good, either.
