Default Improvement in my mental health

This is my 3rd week in LCHF. I notice that I still feel suicidal sometimes and negative in things but not so strong unlike before. I am more rational when talking with people. I don't easily put meanings so it makes me feel less stress in things. Does anyone here also have this kind of improvements in their mental health?

I think so. My mother is schizophrenic. I had a schizophrenic break in my mid-20s, started hearing voices. That was strong for maybe half a year. Serious stuff. After that, for decades, sometimes if I was exposed to white noise, like a lawnmower or a chainsaw, I'd hear people yelling, fighting. So I'd have to wear earmuffs not just to protect my hearing, but to minimized the voices. That kept going even when I was low carb. Last year I went more ketogenic, higher fat, lower protein, and I noticed when I forgot to wear my earmuffs when using the wood splitter, I didn't hear voices any more. My mood seems better too.

I'm glad you're feeling better. I hope it gets better still.

Hi flippish,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better!

Just a point about the forum, you have already started two other threads on this same topic, e.g. http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=465211
You can always find your previous threads and posts by clicking on your own name. Continue with similar threads so other members know what advice/comments have previously been given. Thanks,
