Practice: Do not Eat in car (E) or have any Cheese in refrigerator until Nov 13 2018. If either happens
I’ll mark a “C” or “E” or both in parenthesis next to the day that it occurred below:

WeekEnding | DayCompleted [M,Tu,W,Th,F,Sa,Su] ; Cheese(C), EatInCar(E)
1007 | M - Tu - W
1014 |
1021 |
1028 |
1104 |
1111 |
1118 |

First test (E) today after long kitefoil session in cold water. worked. I'm realizing that I'm probably cutting ~1000 calories perday - and that would be most days because I also (E) after grocery shopping. Rinds, Pumpkin Seeds and Cream Cheese - I'll likely make up for that calorie deficit during meals but I can't imagine it will be 1000 per day. We'll see - should be reflected in some weight change over time.

Too high on the carbs. Not by much, but too high. I was feeling a little yucky yesterday... probably the keto flu.

Ken, I think I had mild keto flu this week, too. I basically gave up the evening help-me-sleep starch because it doesn't seem to work anymore. *shrug* I had a headache bad enough to take ibuprofen, which happens to me maybe a few times a year.

Meggan, you're really kicking butt. Good for you!!

Thud, I don't have a car so I can't relate, but if I did, I'd probably be a neat-freak about it. Maybe that can be a deterrent for the eating habit? Have it detailed or do it yourself, and then it'll feel "wrong" to eat in the car?

Good suggestion but not practical for me. Worrying about maintaining that level of clendliness would be a bigger problem than eating in it, which I don't feel is wrong or bad only a habit that I'm observing and changing. It's easy becuse of the clear boundries of the car. When the doors are closed there's no eating in it and I get to watch how my mind works trying to practice the old habit. I'm trying to find my answers "within" by watcing how mind works. Looking for and trying to control how the mind works by changing external stimulation doesn't seem to work for me long term as what is "out there" isn't really out there, it's all "in there" - body/mind - that is what I work on changing, the way I react after external stimulation occurs that I don't really have any control over.

I'm an organism in an environment

Thank you for your insight tho, I will consider it another habit in and of itself to keep a clean car. For 90 days I maintained a certain level of cleanliness in my kitchen and apartment and that practice is still paying dividends!

How I keep my vehicles example below (i do maintain the moving parts but the interior is simple a shell to house myself and equipment ha! )

Thud, the van looks like organized chaos. Crowded, but I bet you know where everything is! "A place for everything and everything in its place."

Ha Kristine! that's one from a few years ago but my current honda element is about the same. Yesterday I was really hungry, actually hungry after a long day at work. The pull of snacking and driving strong but brief - made it home, chomped on steak and burger - now at weekend we'll see what happens - going shopping today as well and that always end with a drive home of 8oz cream cheese and 5+oz of pork rinds. Do the math!

Thud, LOL. You do that in the car? I need a knife to put cream cheese on pork rinds. Sour cream, OTOH.... that'd probably be my doom if I were prone to car-snacking.

Went shopping picked up pork rinds and sour cream stock. Ate at home and didn't get any cheese. Would have been delicious to eat on the way home but that's the problem ha! This is working.
