Question My Fitday Stats...Help

ok, my stats for today are as follows:

Calories Eaten Today
source grams cals %total
Total: 1320
Fat: 91 815 64%
Sat: 23 209 16%
Poly: 7 60 5%
Mono: 51 463 37%
Carbs: 22 38 3%
Fiber: 12 0 0%
Protein: 103 413 33%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

ok, for the most part I love my stats, my calories are right where I want them, my fat is almost twice my protein...however, what I would like to see is my fat elevated and my protein lowered (and I think my carbs are too low?)

8:30am Keto hot cereal 40g

12:00 large cup of decaf tea (nothing added)

5:30 two cups lettuce
5 oz gyro meat
1/4 cup olive oil (with oregano, lemon, mint)
2 cups cucumber
1/4 cup feta cheese.

I am asking for your help before the day is done because I want to know where I can improve on this without upping my calories. I am starting induction AGAIN today and want to stay low on the calories...is there a better place to post this and ask these questions?

Gail

My daily stats are very close to yours - just a few more carbs (I usually have about 15-18 net carbs). My protein is 60-80 grams and my calories are about 1200-1500.

I think adding a tsp more of salad dressing, butter or olive oil will help you get a higher-fat count and I would not worry about elevating calories a little bit - - especially if you are active. Or try a 1/2 avocado or a little butter.

See what happens during the next week - if you lose than keep it up - -good luck on re-induction

Hi Gail

Could we get some clarification? You've listed 3 meals (well 2 meals and a cup of coffee). Surely you're eating more than that??? It doesn't seem to be enough food.

And another thing, I beleive the recommendation is that we don't go more than 6 hours without food. Can someone confirm that? I've lent my book out.

No lunch ? Is that a regular thing ? You're going a long time between meals, something Dr. A doesn't think is a good thing.

Nope, your right, just two meals. I do this quite often. When I am having a lunch/dinner that is going to pack on the calories I limit myself to two meals in order not to go over my calories. I've been doing Atkins for about 17 months now and have found when I go over 1300 calories I gain...does not matter how good I am, I gain. So I am very careful not to go over. I will try to increase my fat intake (this is one of my greatest struggles) but the delima is in the calories...I will just have to be more creative with my menu in not adding more calories...this is the hard part for me...in the beginning I could eat anything...I ate every three hours but since I've lost this 40+ lbs I simply can't do that...the scary part is that as I get smaller my calories will have to decrease...I don't look forward to that.
