Default Do you know - How many calories or ounces are in fast food burgers without buns?

I've tried to find out on the internet, but all the nutrition info includes the buns.

So far I only found Wendy's: The junior hamburger is 2 ounces.
I stop at fast food places a lot, so I have been eating the hamburger patties and tossing the bun.

I'd love to know McDonalds regular hamburger and Burger King's junior whopper.

Guestimate. A quarter pounder is a quarter pound of beef - before cooking. Cheeseburgers and hamburgers from McD's are similar in size to those at Wendy's, so use those numbers. When you're dealing with a beef patty and a slice of cheese the room for error isn't that great, if it makes you feel better, err on the side of caution (i.e. use a higher number if you're trying to keep calories in check and a lower number if you're trying to increase calories).

Sandylee,

Not sure about ounces, but calories and carbs for Mickey D's can be found from the following link:

http://www.mcdonalds.com/countries/...down/index.html

Go to the bottom of the page and click on "breakdown.pdf".

It breaks down a burger, for example, by each ingredient - bun, meat, lettuce, etc. Unfortunately, a fiber count is not listed.

I'm sure this is listed on another thread out there, but I also found the links to Burger King and Wendy's nutritional info.

http://www.wendys.com/w-4-3.shtml
Click on link below that says "Download a .pdf of Wendy's Nutrition Index"

http://www.burgerking.com/Food/nutr...able/index.html
Click on link that says "Nutritional Components" for a detailed nutritional list.

I haven't gone to a fast food restaurant yet since starting this WOE, but it's nice to know that I have low carb food choices, when the need arises!!

Hardees also offers the info in a strange interactive menu thing. You select the sandwich you want and then clear the checkboxes for the bun, etc. Click view results and you get the info for just what you ordered.

Hardee's nutritional info
