20 minutes lap swimming, both with and without a kick board.

result? sweaty, tired, dizzy,

recovery hastened by 6 oz. half-caff and a piece of string cheese.

Default Saturday morning sleepiness

20 minute fasted cardio

Woke up, drank about 24 oz. water, waited a bit, skipped, jumped, and ran in place around apt.

Felt sick, but things got better after 10-15 minutes. Glad I did it. Hopefully it'll help.

Water Aerobics, 30 min. class

What really got my heart pounding was talking about politics with my more right-wing classmate as we exercised. We actually agree completely on most things -- we just have different ideas about solutions. Oh, and she thinks people choose to be gay. Oops. I switched the topic to Oprah for the cooldown.

Speaking of politics, I'm hoping to go to a "Run Against Bush" later today.

Grr -- and I hope my gym log isn't getting your heart pumping if you genuinely are a compassionate conservative. Hey guys, consider Jesus' socialist tendencies -- He gave everybody fish and they didn't even have to work for it, right? I have logical reasons for my beliefs just like you may have logical reasons for yours.

Yoga, 50 minutes.

So sweaty!

Tai Chi Walking -- oh, I hate this, though it is good for the legs
Long Sun Salutation
Attempted a full-inversion, was too weak due to not having breakfast -- I'll try next Thursday, when the class next meets. And I'll have a nice low-carb breakfast first.
Half-inversion using wall, relaxation exercise. Felt nice.

I admit I was planning to do a full half hour but got bored. I should read some Stephen Cope for inspiration.

Monday, 22nd -- 30 minutes Water Aerobics. Felt fine.

Tuesday, 23rd -- 50 minutes Yoga. It kicked my butt! My shirt only lasted for this one session -- it is now emitting a greyish puff of strong body odor.
