Hi guys,

My girlfriend and I recently decided to try the Atkins Bake Mix. Like most of you we found it a little hard to deal with - although we did make a couple of very funky pizzas out of them!

But then my lass stumbled on a couple of things that made them delicious:

Instead of oil, melt an equivalent amount of butter and put it in with the mixture.

That made an ENORMOUS amount of difference to the final taste.

Plus if you make them smaller and thicker it also seems to be better.

You got Atkins Bake Mix??? I've been looking for it everywhere

Pam if you can buy it then make the "fake" bake mix, there is a recipe on this forum for it somewhere, it works well in pancakes and tortilla etc
