Thumbs down First cheat since I began Atkins.

Yep,
I did it. I'm guilty.
My daughter brought home an entire 12 ct box of "Nothing Bundt Cakes" and 4 beautiful GiGi's cupcakes from work last night.
I don't know what caused me to cave. I've been craving sugar for about 2 weeks now, on and off.. but never enough that I slipped up and gave in. Today I did.
I ate a white chocolate swirled with raspberry puree and iced with cream cheese/butter cream mini bundt cake. About the size of a very small cupcake.

Carb count : 43 grams.

UGH!

I regret that I lost control after doing so well for so long. This is my first cheat since Sept 27, the day I began Atkins Induction. I think I feel more guilty that I enjoyed it so very much. I'm also gluten intolerant, so I will definitely pay for this. I already feel horrible.
Now to get back on the wagon and move on. I cannot let this be an excuse to cheat more.

I'm hoping by admitting my wrong, that I can go forward, use it as a lesson and be more successful.

It's not a "cheat." It didn't force itself into your mouth, you chose to eat it. You've admitted it so abandon it to the past and move on.

REALLY REALLY pay attention to all that you're thinking and feeling right now. This is an opportunity to turn this experience into a tremendous learning experience. Maybe even do a bit of journaling.

It's fine. Things like that will happen in life. You've accepted it, you've admitted it, now you can move on with your plan.

Raspberries are low carb so it wasn't alllll bad! "Fall down seven times, get up eight times." I think many of us have found ourselves in your shoes and you can either blow it all or acknowledge and move on, back to plan. I think you recovered well!
