I visit everyday more or less to catch up on peoples progress and titbits about products etc . It's been really quiet lately - is everyone busy or fallen off the wagon?

Hi Bev

I'm still here. I drop in to do my journal every day and to browse through the UK threads. Not much to report I guess.

Did you have a good easter and manage to keep away from the chocolate eggs. It my birthday Friday and I bet my family buy me chocolate! I have been low carbing for about 18 months now-they just don't get it do they

I feel the same way! I am on here daily, instead of binge eating, I read this forum all day while I am at work! It gives me great ideas and I learn so much!

But, where are all the people! HIDING!

I had two squares of dark chocolate on Easter Saturday with my man gave me as a treat. I had strongly resisted the temptation of junk food will we were out.
One Easter Sunday night we had a Chinese takeaway but I stuck to Chicken Curry with beanshoots. No rice, sweet and sour or prawn crackers. (We have had a bad scare with his dog that day, thought he was at the end but he made a recovery, so we celebrated a bit.)
We ate fish with salad the rest of the time which was really good. I did have the odd glass of wine though throughout the long weekend.

Do you think they are all hiding because of Easter sins ??

I seem to have lost my "buddies" from the new year too.

I sometimes think my optimism and enthusiasm for losing weight frightens people away !!!

Good luck to all
Ali

Im still here, going strong on the 3rd week of maintenance, which is a bloody surprise as i fell off the wagon for a few days on my birthday, i was in carb over indulgance, but i seem to have the cravings out of my system now, and i keep working a little bit more down the gym to counter-act my sins lol!

Still very much enjoying this WOL, even tho i have cut my fat/calories down whilst upping my carb levels!
