Does anyone live in London (i'm near notting hill/high st ken area) and know where I can get hold of:
almond flour
flaxseed oil for cooking with
flaxseed meal
'zwicky' soy bean flakes (found them in a health food store in cambridge and loved them)
Low carb bread ( a bit optimistic, i know!)

Where to get food items

Hi Abi

I can help you on a couple of items

Almond Flour - this to us is ground almonds and you can get that in the baking section of most supermarkets.

Flaxseed oil - this is also known as linseed oil in the UK. Certainly Holland and Barrett sell Flaxseed oil/linseed oil. Here is a link to H & B's website. Don't know about flaxseed meal.

Never head of soy bean flakes and have no interest in bread, so can't help there.

The lowest carb bread I have found is Vogel or Burgen Soy and linseed bread.

There is a health shop called queens health shop on 64 gloucester road which has linseed/flaxseed products, keto shakes (low carb shakes) n loads of stuff atkinites are allowed to eat. check it out.
