Default Anyone looking for bison burgers?

Goodness Me in Hamilton Ontario sells them. 100% bison meat.
They also sell venison and a host of other low carb products including breads.

I've bought bison directly from local farmers here in saskatchewan many many a time (large orders), and from farmers markets in smaller amounts.

I've seen 100% bison frozen pre formed burgers sold at several Superstores, and extra foods all over saskatchewan and alberta (both the same company as loblaws, westfair foods), as well as at a couple garden market iga's on occasion in my city of saskatoon, sk. Saw some in the safeway in prince albert saskatchewan a while back as well, but havent checked in other safeways in my home area. The co-op in prince albert also sometimes sells bison in limited amounts.

Bison is pretty expensive buying from the grocery store, but when you buy large orders direct from farmers it is WAY less.

I rarely ever eat beef now, because bison just tastes so much better.

I've never seen venison in stores before, I get mine through my dad, as he and my brother are avid hunters.

Btw, in the past I have bought rhea meat directly from small exotic farms too, and it is a delicious change. Also every once in a while ostrich is sold in grocery stores in small amounts in my area.

I got mine at $6.99 for 4 thick patties. Like you said, quite pricey but it was
delicious and something I will buy again.
