I can't eat chicken any more. I was craving it, and for a few weeks I enjoyed chicken/bacon wraps, but my last tries got too weird. One, from a grocery I don't usually buy from, shrank in half and wouldn't brown. The other belched all this blood from the bones which made me just throw it out.

They have been making monsters of chickens since 1947. I think it's gotten completely out of hand. I just can't support it any more.

I read that the reason the chickens are so bad for people with arthritis is because they are not fed a natural diet, instead corn and soy which increases their AA content.

I'm sure that's not the only thing they are doing to the poor birds.

Industrial food may feed a lot of people, but it degrades the quality of the food and increases the impact on our environment.

I bought chicken last week. Twice. One place had thighs which shrunk in half and were inedible. Another place was labeled "organic" but their big thighs didn't shrink. Except the bones all leaked weird blood which turned black and ruined the whole pan.

I'm soooo off chicken. I don't feel right about supporting it. Good eggs will have to do.
