Default Hello from NH. 1 week on induction today.

Good morning! Today is my first weigh after 7 (grueling) days of induction. Happy to be down 6 lbs. and under 200# for the first time in 2 years. Motivated going into week 2, which ends in a vacation with the family - which I'm a little concerned about but hoping that my progress keeps me on track. Hardest part of this for me is no alcohol...I love my nightly wine. Also looking forward to having nuts after induction is over.

Well done!!!!!! Keep at it!!

Plan ahead on how you will fix meals. I often made spaghetti for the kids, keeping the meat sauce separate from the pasta, and adding a few low carb vegies to fill the bowl and top with the meat sauce. Cheese sticks are handy.

Welcome and keep going!! You are doing well!!

Default Thanks

Thanks Arielle, I'm pretty motivated and I like the spaghetti idea - it is a bit challenging w/ also cooking for the kids. I have bought 3 types of cheese sticks, just making sure I don't eat more than 1 a day so don't forget the veggies. I bring salads to work. Looking forward to being past week 2 to be able to add in nuts and berries!

Week 2 of induction done! -9.2 lbs. Headed on vaca tomorrow. Going to stick to low/no carb, but let myself have an adult beverage (no carb one) each day for cheap thrills. Also going to try adding in some fruit and nuts and see how that goes.
