Default almond flour and flax meal

Is there some place I can get these besides the internet?
Does anyone have a good flax meal muffin recipe?
Thanks

Hello-
I don't know where you live, but I get mine at the local natural foods store. I make my own flax meal: I buy organic golden flax seeds (in bulk) and grind them in a coffee grinder. It's important to have fresh flax meal as it goes bad quick. I get almond meal/flour from the bulk bin too.
There are lots of recipes on this site for flax and almond.
happy shopping-

Trader Joe's has both, at a very reasonable price too.

Some of the more nicer grocery stores may carry them also. "Bloom" in North Carolina carries the almond flour, soy flour, flax meal, wheat bran etc in their natural foods section. I recommend grinding your own flax seeds into meal also. I bought some seeds but found out that my grinder is broken so I'm waiting for the next payday to buy another one. I bought some flaxmeal in the meantime though.
